IG-Horten is a group of people interested in flying-wings based on the Horten concept. This concept was established by  Walter and Reimar Horten during the 1930's and 1940's in Bonn, Germany.

One of the main aims of the group is to revive in general the interest on this specific flying concept. To achieve this, these webpages and a discussion forum were created (feel free to register in the forum).

In July 1933, more than 75 years ago, the Horten Ia airplane had its maiden flight in Bonn-Hangelar. This outstanding historic event was also one of the reasons for creating the group back in 2008.
